Vinho Regional Algarve
Red – late harvest
“This has no track record, but it seems to have the structure to age, maybe better than indicated. It’s fair to say this is an offbeat wine and thus hard to benchmark, but I liked it a lot.” [Mark Squires, Feb 2022]
375 ml / 1113 Bottles
Late harvest wine with 151 g sugar/litre, made
from Touriga Nacional grapes naturally
dehydrated on the vines.
Very deep, impenetrable colour. Intense and
perfumed with notes of flowers and nutmeg,
black fruit, chocolate and some vanilla.
Opulent and very full–bodied on the palate, with
a creamy sweetness.
The wine’s heaviness and sweetness are
beautifully balanced by the powerful structure
with fine–grained tannins and vibrant acidity.
Long and fragrant finish – a unique dessert
SERVICE & PAIRING
Serve at 14 – 16ºC. Enjoy as a dessert wine or
with a cheese platter.
